Villa Bagatelle

An exceptional house gives birth to a new concept of Hotel-Museum.
The Villa Bagatelle is a 1900s bourgeois house surrounded by two hectares of English-style parkland. It has been listed on the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments for the quality of its design and its exceptional state of conservation. It is one of the very few houses from this period in Lyon to have preserved its park, outbuildings, its interior layout and its original decor wich are almost intact. As such, it is a precious testimony to family homes and the art of living of the upper middle classes at the end of the 19th century, which we offer our guests the chance to discover life-size.

Bagatelle is the ideal place for your tourist or business stays in Lyon, Vienne and the south of Lyon. It is an excellent stop-off point on the Via Rhôna or towards the south (near A6-A7).

Hôtel-Musée, a new concept

The idea is to open up a Historic Monument to you and immerse yourself in a 1900-1930 world that's as authentic as possible. Come and spend a night or a few days in contact with the spaces, materials, atmospheres and objects of early 20th century France. We have made a particular point of preserving as many original or old features as possible, which have been carefully restored to their former glory. At Bagatelle, the old is once again the astonishing novelty it was when it was first created. Villa Bagatelle is located in Irigny, ten minutes south of Lyon, in the Rhône department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
